FORSTER BEACH

Public BBQ

The Forster Ocean Baths, affectionately dubbed the "Bullring" by locals, offer a serene alternative to the crashing waves of the main beach. This protected ocean pool features a gradual sandy entrance that makes it particularly welcoming for families with young children, while the deeper sections accommodate serious lap swimmers and even water aerobics classes. The facility excels in practical amenities - undercover barbecue areas with tables provide respite from the coastal sun, while clean toilets, cold showers, and changing rooms handle the essentials efficiently. Positioned at the southern end of Forster Beach against the backdrop of Bennetts Head, the baths maintain their appeal even on overcast days, though they truly shine when bathed in morning sunlight. The surrounding grassy areas and shaded seating make this a genuine multigenerational destination where toddlers splash in the shallows while grandparents enjoy the peaceful atmosphere from the sidelines.
